The Clipper Name
In
the Beginnig of the 19th century the Clipper Ship
starts sailing. A sailing ship created to reach
higher speeds. It has been a historical mark in
the production of ships due to its innovative design
and due to its new pointing stern, it was known
for being the fastest sailing ship for cargo ever
built.
The
Clipper ship was used for transports of heavy loads
and provided a speed and economy never known before.
When two Clippers were in the same route, bets were
made, and the main coast cities stopped to see the
disputed arrival of the winner.
Clipper
has adopted as it's logo, the image of a sailing "Clipper".
It connects the history to the company spirit and
philosophy:
Effectiveness, Speed
and Quality, the same reached by the "Clippers"
of that time.
